Consultation + Planning
The consultation is where the experience truly begins. It’s a relaxed, no-pressure conversation designed to help us get to know each other and make sure your session feels authentic to you.
We’ll talk about your vision, what moments matter most to you, and the style and feel you’re hoping to capture. I’ll also help guide you in choosing the right session type and appropriate session length, and we’ll plan the location(s) that best fit your vision and the story you want to tell. It’s also the perfect time to ask questions, share ideas, and go over all the details—from wardrobe and timing to logistics and what to expect on the day of your session.
Most importantly, I want you to feel comfortable and excited. Building a genuine connection helps create natural, meaningful photographs, and the consultation gives us the chance to start that process together before we ever pick up the camera.
Confirmation + Fee Schedule
Once we've selected a date and finalized the details, you'll receive a booking proposal that includes your contract and retainer invoice. Your session date is officially reserved once the signed agreement and retainer are received. The remaining balance is due one week before your session. In the event of inclement weather, outdoor sessions may be rescheduled at no additional charge.
The Photoshoot
On the day of your session, you can expect a relaxed, easygoing experience designed to let you and/or your family feel comfortable and natural in front of the camera. I’ll guide you through the session with simple direction when needed, but I also leave plenty of space for candid moments to unfold naturally, especially with kids. There’s no pressure for perfection—just real connection, movement, and fun. My goal is to keep things flowing smoothly so you can focus on each other while I take care of capturing the moments you’ll want to remember.
Post-Production
After your session, the experience continues with a thoughtful and efficient post-production process designed to give you both speed and creative control. Within 24–48 hours, you’ll receive a full gallery of your images uploaded to Pic-Time, where you can easily view, share, and select your favorite moments. From there, you choose the images you’d like professionally edited and fully retouched. This approach ensures you’re involved in selecting what matters most, while still receiving polished, timeless images that reflect your session beautifully.
Delivery
Once your final selections are made, I carefully hand-edit each image to ensure they reflect the natural, timeless style my work is known for—paying close attention to light, color, and subtle detail while keeping everything authentic and true to the moment. Your fully edited gallery is then delivered in a high-resolution online gallery, making it easy to download, share with family and friends, and order professional-quality prints. From start to finish, the process is designed to feel seamless and intentional, so you end with a collection of images that feel personal, polished, and ready to be enjoyed for years to come.
